Cancellation and Refund Policy

Minecraft @ Gad Lab exclusively offers digital services: access to a private Minecraft server and online workshops. No physical goods are sold. This policy applies to all our subscriptions and services.

1. Free trial

Every new member gets a free trial session before making a purchase. This trial allows you—and your family—to discover the server, the community, and the teaching method with no financial commitment.

The free trial is only granted once per family and per email address.

2. Monthly subscriptions

Our subscriptions are billed monthly and provide access to the server for the corresponding period.

  • Cancellation: you can cancel at any time from your member area. Access remains active until the end of the period already paid for.
  • Refunds: no pro-rated refunds are granted for unused days during the current period.
  • Exception: in the event of a prolonged technical failure attributable to Gad Lab (more than 72 consecutive hours of server downtime), a subscription extension equivalent to the duration of the interruption will be granted automatically.

3. Workshops and one-off sessions

Workshops (class sessions, family workshops, Serious Craft) are services provided on a fixed date.

  • Cancellation by the participant: full refund if the cancellation occurs more than 7 days before the workshop date. No refunds after this period.
  • Cancellation by Gad Lab: full refund or rescheduling of the session to a mutually agreed date.

4. Server exclusion

In the event of a serious breach of the Community Rules (harassment, cheating, behavior contrary to the charter), Gad Lab reserves the right to permanently exclude a member without a refund for the current period.

5. Right of withdrawal (Swiss law)

In accordance with Swiss legislation on distance selling, a 14-day right of withdrawal applies to online purchases. However, for digital services where performance has begun with your express consent before the expiry of this period (immediate access to the server), this right is limited in accordance with Art. 40a CO.

If you wish to exercise this right before using the service, contact us within 14 days of purchase.
